Hiking in Sierra Madre Valley

Our adventure begins in the low lands in the North of the bay at the ranch “El Naranjal”. This hike is a unique adventure surrounded by the magnificent deciduous tropical forest. Along the trail, on the way your guide will explain about the typical Mexican farming activities of this region and great diversity of local plants and tropical trees.
The trail leads us by the river where the view of the Sierra Madre and the songs of the great variety of birds that inhabit this area will captivate you. At the end of this hike we´ll visit a typical Mexican ranch. This is an intermediate rate, aprox. 3.5 miles long hike, involves walking mountain trail.
Itinerary
• 8:30 am - Meet at Ecotours office in Down town. (Ignacio L. Vallarta #243)
• 9:00 am - Meet at Ecotours marina office in Marina Vallarta (Proa loc. 20)
• 9:10 am - Meet outside to Happy Go grocery store in Nuevo Vallarta (in front to Marlin de Tepic restaurant).
• 2:00 pm - Return to Puerto Vallarta.
