The states of Jalisco and Nayarit are home to a great diversity of habitats, coastal lagoons, mangroves and beaches just to name a few. The variety is so great that you can find up to 355 different bird species in this area. You’ll be able to see different varieties of birds, the famous Military Macaw, the Orange fronted Parakeet, the Citreoline Trogons, Magpie Jays, Jacanas, Herons & Egrets, Blue Footed boobies and Frigate birds just to mention a few. At the same time, you will discover pristine and unique places along the Mexican Pacific Coast, such as San Blas, Punta Mita, La Cruz de Loreto, Puerto Vallarta and more.

Discover some of Banderas Bay’s great natural wonders with us in this four day trip. Don’t miss the opportunity to encounter one of the most ancient dwellers of the sea, the ever acrobatic humpback whales that visit Banderas Bay every winter to breed and give birth to their calves. Admire their varied and playful behavior, their breaches and mother-calf tenderness, listen to their song and learn about their migration, life cycle, behavior and other interesting facts which will be fully explained by an expert and specialized guide .At the same time, you’ll be participating actively on a Humpback Whale Research and conservation Project. Discover nesting Blue Footed Boobies, Pelicans, Frigate Birds and Brown boobies among other species during the breeding season at Marietas Islands bird sanctuary and enjoy the beach and the beautiful fishing village of Punta Mita.
