Discover one of the ocean's most astonishing natural phenomena in Banderas Bay: bioluminescence. Our experience combines a beautiful sunset over the bay, a sail south of Puerto Vallarta, and a nighttime adventure to observe the blue glow produced by tiny marine organisms that flicker with movement — a natural spectacle you'll enjoy under the darkness of night. Accompanied by a professional biologist, you'll learn the science behind this fascinating phenomenon and get to experience the bioluminescence from the boat or, conditions permitting, through a night snorkel. The experience runs during windows of the lunar cycle when a darker sky lets you appreciate the water's natural glow at its best. Note: visibility of the bioluminescence depends on the water's natural conditions, darkness, and other environmental factors. Since this is a natural phenomenon, its intensity can't be guaranteed.

Itinerary
- 5:45 p.m.: Check-in at the Ecotours Vallarta office in Marina Vallarta
- 6:00 p.m.: Introduction to bioluminescence — an informative talk with photos and videos
- 6:30 p.m.: Boarding and sailing to the viewing area (timing may vary with sunset)
- Nighttime experience: observe bioluminescence from the boat or through a night snorkel, guided by a biologist
- 9:00 p.m.: Return to Marina Vallarta (timing may vary based on departure time)
